JOB DESCRIPTION

Solution Architecture: Design and build end-to-end analytics solutions using the Palantir Foundry ecosystem.

Data Engineering: Develop and optimize scalable PySpark data pipelines to handle complex insurance datasets.

App Development: Create sophisticated user-facing web applications using Foundry Workshop and TypeScript.

Leadership: Act as a technical lead on strategic initiatives, translating business requirements into robust technical designs.

People Management: Serve as a line manager, providing mentorship through code reviews, design discussions, and career development.

Collaboration: Work closely with global cross-functional teams to improve data quality, architecture, and developer experience.

Requirements

Experience: Senior-level expertise in Data Engineering or Analytics.

Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in Python and PySpark is essential.

Architectural Knowledge: Solid understanding of data warehousing, ELT processes, and cloud data architecture.

Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead by example, mentor junior staff, and communicate complex ideas effectively.

Education: University degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD).

Language: Professional fluency in English (B2+).

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Experience with Palantir Foundry.

Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.

Knowledge of (Re)Insurance or the financial services domain.

Experience with Generative AI or Natural Language Processing (NLP).
