Key Responsibilities
1. Development & Customization:
• Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP ABAP programs, reports, forms (SmartForms/Adobe), and
interfaces (IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs) using clean and modular Object-Oriented ABAP principles.
• Support SAP modules with focus on MM, SD, FI, and CO by implementing user exits, BADIs, and
custom enhancements.
• Translate functional specifications into efficient and scalable technical solutions in S/4HANA or
ECC environments.
2. Collaboration & Support:
• Work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand
requirements and propose feasible technical designs.
• Participate in code reviews and support testing phases (unit testing, integration testing, UAT).
• Assist in debugging and resolving system issues, including performance optimization.
3. Documentation & Quality Assurance:
• Ensure all developed objects are well documented and align with company development
standards.
• Contribute to versioning, transport management, and technical documentation in coordination
with the project team.
4. Continuous Learning & Growth:
• Stay up to date with ABAP and SAP technologies, including S/4HANA innovations (e.g., CDS
Views, AMDP, ABAP RESTful Programming Model).
• Actively engage in knowledge-sharing and support process improvement initiatives.
Professional Experience: 5+ years (Senior) / 3–5 years (Medior) hands-on ABAP development
experience.
Technical Skills:
• Solid understanding of core ABAP development (Reports, Module Pool, ALV, Data Dictionary).
• Experience with enhancements: BADI, User Exits, Enhancement Framework.
• Familiarity with Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP).
• Knowledge of integration techniques: IDoc, RFC, BAPI, Web Services.
Exposure to:
• ABAP on HANA (CDS Views, AMDP).
• SAP Fiori / UI5 extension (optional but advantageous).
• Git-based version control tools (e.g., abapGit).
Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical thinking and solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a team-oriented approach.
• High level of independence, accountability, and flexibility.
Language Requirements:
• English: Fluent (mandatory)
• German: Advantageous
